Studio Rental

Susan Hess Modern Dance rents out studio space to the wider dance community. Please check our calendar to determine whether the times you want are available, then fill out the form below.

Once we have received your full information, we will contact you with a rate quote, verify your booking, and provide you with other information about studio access.

Studio Rental Information

  • Rental rates are determined according to purpose for which the space is rented and number or people in the space.
  • We have a minimum booking time of two consecutive hours in the space.  We do not rent for one-hour slots.
  • Any cancellation of a reservation must take place 24 hours or more before the booked time for the money to be refunded.
  • Upon getting the keys, you must make a deposit or full payment, depending on the length of your booking time.
  • After your time in the studio ends, the key must be returned immediately to Susan Hess Modern Dance.
Our priorities for usage are as follows:
  • Residents and programs of Susan Hess Modern Dance
  • Bookings of ongoing rehearsals or classes
  • Order of request
General Studio Rules
  • No smoking.
  • No food in the studio.
  • All drink containers must be removed when you leave the space.
  • When you are in the studio, lock the door.
  • With energy costs as they are, be as conservative with the thermostat as possible.
